TORINO GRAPHIC DAYS vol. 02
Branding VOL.02
As a visual design studio and brand development agency, Quattrolinee supports the organization of the Torino Graphic Days festival (Graphic Days since 2020), a graphic design and visual communication event based in Turin, which reached its second edition in October 2017.
As a collaborator of the studio, I was asked to develop the visual identity of the festival. Starting from the event’s main goal — spreading knowledge about communication and fostering debate on graphic design and art in their contemporary context, influenced by political, social, cultural, and anthropological factors — we chose to create a visual identity centered on graphic design as an international language. This language bridges different cultures, nationalities, ages, and societies, providing a common ground.
Consequently, we developed a system of symbols drawn from various fields: money, flags, medicine, sports, social media, books, politics, religions, and more, constructing a code to create unique flags. Through these compositions, we effectively communicated the festival’s international significance and its mission to the public.
The photos of the event were taken by Francesco Zivoli and Lorenzo Ritorto.
